Trina: I just wanted to say how much we appreciated The Institute for our son this year. We only heard about it in January, and he joined the first week of February. The experience for him was invaluable in preparing him for baseball this season, and the coaches were all so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and eager to give the kids the best chance to succeed. The first two sessions we went to, my son was hesitant and tired, due to the late night start. But every time he came off the field he would talk about how great it was and what he had learned and worked on. It was great to see the enjoyment of the game increasing with each time he practiced with the team at The Institute. We will definitely be registering my son again next year, as he has learned so much, his confidence has grown, and he really enjoyed every session. Can’t speak of them highly enough.
Darren Schneiderat: Our son took up baseball last summer for the 1st time as a 13 year old and I was worried that he would be far behind. He attended camp last winter and learned so much. This winter his development has been awesome. He attacks ground balls and his hitting and throwing are night and day from a year ago! Highly recommend!
Tami Ingrilli: As a parent, I wanted to share how positive our experience has been with the Elite 360 Winter Baseball Camp program through the Winnipeg Baseball Institute. My son absolutely loved being part of the program. From the very first session, the coaches created an environment that was welcoming, encouraging, and genuinely fun for the kids. It’s clear that they care not just about baseball skills, but about helping the athletes grow in confidence and love for the game. What stood out most to me was how attentive and approachable all of the coaches were. They took the time to work with the kids individually, offered constructive feedback, and celebrated their progress along the way. My son always felt comfortable asking questions or talking with them, which says a lot about the culture they’ve built. Over the course of the camp, we saw real development. His pitching speed improved, his batting became more consistent, and most importantly his confidence grew noticeably. He came home after each session excited to tell us what he learned and couldn’t wait for the next one. It’s not easy to balance skill development with keeping things fun for young athletes, but this program does it extremely well. The coaches challenge the kids to improve while still making sure they enjoy every minute of it. We’re very grateful for the time, energy, and care the coaching staff puts into these athletes. It’s been a fantastic experience for our family, and we’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to be involved. Thank you to all the coaches for creating such a positive place for young players to learn and grow.
Shawna: Amazing, Coach Derek and the entire crew are amazing and encouraging. Even after one lesson you can see the improvements. Just wish I knew about this sooner.
Nathan Kaprawy: My son has trained at other places but The Institute is by far his favourite. The coaches are firm and expect a lot out of each session which makes for lots of learning and growth. My son’s skills have improved greatly over the past 4 months and he can feel and see the difference.
Jayden Wheeler: I’ve absolutely loved being a part of the institute family over the last couple of years doing the winter program. This year doing the Elite 360 3 days a week program has definitely improved my running, my strength & really broken down my batting skills. I’ve learned new things all year while improving my skills. I’d highly recommend this program to anyone looking to take their game to the next level! The instructors absolutely care about each of our personal growth and development while maintaining focus on keeping us healthy, as soon as anything isn’t feeling right they stop and assess and always have something we can pick up and learn in place of adjusting an area that’s not feeling right such as proper arm care, adjusting the program to meet our individual needs while maintaining focus on the group as a whole! I love that they care as much as they do and it truly makes me feel that much better about myself and my personal growth and development! Truly the best environment I’ve been part of yet! Thank you!!!
Jon Boville: We have our son AJ in the weekend skills program and have noticed not just his baseball skills growing but also his confidence. This is large in part due to the encouragement he gets durning these sessions from all the different coaches. We appreciate the transparency and organization that is show and the support for the kids. We will be back and strongly recommend for any parent looking to give you child a competitive but safe place for them to advance their skills.
Arthur Chan: Amazing coaches, they take the time to correct the kids in their skills and challenge them to be better. Reinforces the love of the game! Like night and day when compared to other groups. Would highly recommend and thankful for this camp as my son has improved and is more committed to the game!
Will Streilein: Wanted to give a huge shout out to the institute for partnering with me to create an offseason umpire training program. The monthly sessions proved to be a great opportunity to get umpires facing live pitching with one on on instruction. The institutes efforts to bring in extra pitchers and catchers for these sessions is greatly appreciated. Thank you for the collaboration and helping us make the game better for everyone.
Michelle Webster: My oldest son joined the institute last year and now my youngest is doing the winter sessions. We used other baseball camps in the past and this one has been the most amazing. The coaches actually work with each kid and train/teach them properly. The institute feels like family to our family and we respect and appreciate all the hard work the coaches put into the kids and helping them be the best player they can be. Thank you ❤️❤️
Michael Hornung: Noah took part in the catchers camp. He has really enjoyed his experience there. Derek and his team have really built an environment where the players work hard but also have fun and improve their skills. Noah is excited to continue to be a part of the Winnipeg Baseball Institute family!
Big Hitter: Love working with coach Alex, such a great hitting coach
Mindie Copet: Nolan is attending the Catcher Camp with The Institute this winter and is having an incredible experience. Being surrounded by like-minded athletes who share the same passion for the game really motivates him. Not only has he developed his skills behind the plate, but he also built great connections and friendships with other players. He would have signed up for every camp if I’d let him! A huge thank you to the coaches, Derek and Harry, for their knowledge, encouragement, and dedication to the athletes. Their coaching creates such a positive and supportive environment that Nolan looks forward to every session and enjoys every minute of it. We’re very grateful for the opportunity and would highly recommend the program to any young catcher looking to grow their game and be part of a great training community.
Jeff Katcher: Great coaching, my kids have improved a lot and appreciate the consistent instruction. The staff are great with the kids and hold them accountable at all times .
Kati Sutherland: The coaches at The Institute truly care about each player’s development, not just as athletes, but as kids. The instruction is age-appropriate, focused on fundamentals, and we’ve seen a huge improvement in skills, and overall love for the game. Most importantly, our child looks forward to every session. The Institute does a great job creating a motivating environment where kids can grow, learn, and have fun. We highly recommend it to any family looking for quality baseball training. Thanks, Kati
Mike: My son has been training with this organization for the past two years, and he has thoroughly enjoyed working with coaches who are truly invested in his success and always available to answer his questions. I have seen significant progress in his skills, which has translated directly into his on-the-field performance. I recommend speaking with the owners to determine the best fit for your child. If you have a high-level player, they might be better suited for a higher age group or private lessons to maximize their growth. While the facility has some limitations regarding the types of drills that can be practiced, the quality of instruction is excellent. Overall, I would recommend this program to players of almost any level. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and show a genuine commitment to teaching the fundamentals necessary for long-term success.
Dana Smith: Watching how much the coaches put into the interactions with the kids was amazing. They kept them accountable to skill development but with positive and fun interactions. I was also very impressed at how much they focused on core fundamentals by breaking things down to the simplest mechanics
